Has anyone had any experience with a forward seat post. I am thinking about using one on my current road geometry bike to get a better tri position. Any thoughts??

I use a profile fast-forward. Much better tri positioning than using aeros w/out. Nearly unnaceptable for road riding in standard road position.

It does put more weight on the front wheel, but not really an issue for standard-format (read: fairly straight) bike courses.

Make sure you raise the saddle-height to compensate for the forward position.

I did this on my road bike, put aero bars on and the profile forward seat post. I don't reccomend it, I had way to much weight forward and the back wheel would pop up around corners, very dangerous. If you can handle that go for it as it does offer an advantage. Do it as a tempory fix until you get a tri bike.
