I've never ridden one myself, but this is a review by someone who I would say is more qualified and has more knowledge of bikes plus how to review them then just about anyone else out there.

From what I've heard, and from my experience with the p2k, its an excellent bike.

If you want to get your bike anytime soon, don't order from Cervelo. They have terrible customer service, and don't seem to ever finish anything. Multiple people from my team have complained about them and said they would never order from them again.

I sure do. The Soloist is very quick, stiff and responsive. Climbing is great and it accelarates easily especially spinning rather than mashing. It seems that every stroke propels the bike ahead. I needed to change the gearing on mine from a 53/42 to 50/39 for more reasonable gear ratios and less repetition of gears as well as ease on the knees. Cervelo does have some problems with supply but this is a young company which is only about 8yrs old. They take great pride in their bikes and their craftsmanship and designs. This is a late response to your post so maybe you have moved on or maybe you have purchased the Soloist. Don't let the guy who talked about poor customer service turn you away from Cervelo. Great bikes, great prices. Team CSC ( Tyler Hamilton )rides them and has had some pretty good luck. Tour de France 2003 was the first time a Canadian bike (Cervelo) had been entered and Team CSC won the team standing.
