Hello All-
I am racing in the Escape in June. I rode the course this last weekend and found there to be more elvation gain then I had expected. What gearing do people run for Tri races, I am thinking to have a little lower gearing considering that I will be heading into the bike after the swim....I have a double chainring....

thanks

A 39-23 or 25 should get you up almost anything. If memory serves, most of the elevation gain is early in the bike leg (I've never done this race, I'm just trying to remember race coverage from years ago). Take your time in T1 and get your land legs back.
