|I started training seriously about 3 weeks ago. It seems my usual 6 hours of sleep is not enough. I'm not showing the irritability of overtraining that I've read about, just tired. Does one have to sleep more in the early stages of training?|

|If you are training your body is going to need more time to recover, especially if it is not used to being taxed in this way!

|Definitely need to sleep more during training and racing. Your body recovers and builds during sleep. many coaches and pros recommend no less than 8 hours a night.
happy training, racing, and sleeping,
