What would be a proper warm up for an olympic distance tri? I've never thought about the warm up until now... what sort of things should I do?

Only 5 days left till my first race! I'm pumped!

In my experiance,
Do what ever you usually do to warm up for a hard swim workout, for me this is some streching, arm circles etc... then a short warm up swim type thing (make sure the race is starting on time though, i did a tri in whistler where i warmed up in the lake and then waited 40mins for the race to start.. boo to that..)

The swim should then be warmup for the bike.. etc etc..

good luck

I usually warm up for my bike/run with a 1.5k swim. Not proper, but honest.
Hahah, true enough.... (nm)sctri
