Tri bike question...Roadfrog

Will a bike with 78 degree seat tube really help with the transition to the run or is that just marketing hype? Thanks, HOP

The steeper seat angle does two things -- (1) it does somewhat ease the transition to running by keeping the hip angle more open, and (2) it utilizes the "running muscles" more during the bike portion rather than the hips and glutes.

How YOU react to that particular seat tube angle remains to be seen. Individuals vary, Myself, I never liked anything steeper than 74 degrees.
