Disc or lighter wheel for rolling hills??Hilo

Does anyone have any input for the better advantage on moderatly rolling hills? Would a rear disc wheel still be better than a lighter aero wheel even w/ the weight difference?

"moderately rolling" is kinda subjective, and wheel choice would be to, to a point. Considering the extra heft of the average disc wheel (though I hear the new HED disc will come in at around 900 grams for 700C) and the fact that the aerodynamic benefits are only apparent at speeds >23 mph, you'd have to make a judgment call based on the terrain and your abilities.

In general, I'd sacrifice the aero advantage of a full disc for ease of climbing... perhaps a deep wheel instead.
