Hi there,

Looking for you your wise recommendations...
I'm gearing up for a long distance duathlon & hopefully long distance triathlons afterwards.

I ride a Softride 650c Powerwing, and I would like to upgrade my standard road bar to an integrated aerobar. There are some products out there, like the Profile Carbon-X, Vision, Cinelli Angel and I bet some more I don't know of, so it's hard to make a choice.

Can anyone recommend a specific brand? I'm 5' 10, weight about 130 pounds. I would like good comfort & maximum reliability from the aerobar.

Thanks,
Joel.

Actually, my personal preference is against integrated aero bars. The reason being that the entire unit must be rotated. If you like to tilt your aero bars upwards AT ALL, then realize that the bullhorn extensions will be tilted at the same angle. I prefer to use a standard bullhorn (Profile, Mavic) with a clip-on aero bar. Allows for the most versatility.
True, but . . .speedisgood

they don't look as cool. Not that it matters a lot for speed. I like my extensions flat so the Profile Carbon-X combo works really well for me. Very comfy all around, great adjustability. Check out my review on it in the review section, if interested.
