I would suggest trying TrainingBible.com, this is a website based around Joe Friel's methodology from the book "Triathletes Training Bible". You can coach yourself using the tools they provide.

I would reccomend the Triathlon Academy online coaching @ www.triathlonacademy.com. I used them this past season and easily exceeded 2/3 goals and met the third. The plans are easy to follow and take the guess work out of it. I will be using them agin in prep for IM Utah in June....Good Luck & keep on tri'ing!

First off, find out if there is a Triathlon Org in your city. Like here in Atlanta we have Tri-Atlanta group. The online workouts are nice, but sorry I pay enough in swimming club expenditures, bike maintenance, etc. You can find good workouts for free under Triathlete Magazine, which incorporates HR Training.

The best I have found is through other people who have done Ironman races and have discussed their training methodologies, which I assume have adapted from other people, etc., etc.

Case in point:

Look into doing something for a good cause, like Leukemia/Lymphoma Society. These setups usually provide you with experienced coaches (our triathlete coach has a few Ironmans, dozens of Halfs, and other triathlons under his belt and that doesn't include his wife).

Just a thought my friend. (I hope to be posting my workouts online soon, but my goal is to finish in a reasonable time and not to win...finishing would be my first victory, then I would go from there).
