All I know is that they are a European (French) brand and that Team FDJeux.com uses them. Good, bad? Couldn't get a whole lot from their website. Has anyone ever ridden one? What model do they use in the tour?

Thanx!

Seen a few. Are they all Cyfac made? Probably U2 frames. nmSpunout

Guess I'm just slow this morning...

Can you explain? Is the U2 the model of bike they are riding?

Cyfac is a custom bike builder that in the past has made all the bikes for MBK when they were the sponsor for Cofidis, and also Jean Delatour if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure there are other examples. U2 refers to a very light and popular aluminum tubset made by dedaccai. Lappierre maybe be a department store brand if I remember correctly, kinda like a french huffy (I think the AG2r Decathalon's are the same deal). In other words it's common for the pro model to not be available to the public, because it's built by a custom builder.
Wow, thanks that answered my questions. nmKRider
