Lances attitude...ajoc_prez

I must say that I am just SO impressed with Lances attitude, especially in the post-race press conference. Unlike many other world class athletes, he doesn't seem to be aware of his lofty status. He is just a great down to earth guy. Cancer certainly did humble him. What a great ambassador to the sport, and as an American, I'm proud!

Most Americans don't know (or care for that matter) how Canadians view them. It's sort of like being in bed with an elephant who snores and talks in thier sleep. Needless to say admiration is not one of the words that springs to mind.
Imagine my shock a couple years ago to learn that my idol is American and a Texan no less. I have nothing but admiration for Lance and as a result I figure you guys can't be all bad :).

yea some of us are a bit myopic and narrow minded. frontier, revolutionary attitude has its downsides but got us to where we are. Can be a pain in the ass but it's great for storming beaches.
Big up to Canada! Forgive us for seeing you as our quiet, geeky little brother.
