I was amazed when a topic of mine hit something like 1400 views, but the one just below it is at 2324 views as I post this. And this is on a REST day ... nothing to talk about but old news!

I imagine there's smoke rolling out of the RBR computers! Hope their ad revenue is up! I don't recall EVER seeing posts get past three digits of views before.

Probably the busiest the Tour board has been since its inception. I am pleased to see it doing so well (if we could only get someone to sponsor this board for the month of July!)

Personally, I think the increase in traffic is due to two things. Lance (of course) and OLN.

Lance is the biggest name in cycling, and he draws a worthy crowd. And all the drama in the Tour this year (Lance related and otherwise) no doubt, is a huge factor.

OLN's live coverage in the morning (for most of the US) means plenty to talk about during the < ahem > work day.

Of course, I'm biased, but this is the first site I go to in the morning, then use the links above to launch into the different coverage.

my post is over 2500 (it is like a goal to have the post with the most hits).

I think cyclingnews and velonews both get overloaded and cant update fast enough so people come here to get an update from us spoilers. Also it is great to read what people think and their outrageos opions and predictions are.
