|...Lance was injured in the crash? It seems that he was already having problems with his back.
What effect will this have on the rest of the race for him? in the TT?

|....It looked like he fell the right way --- or at least as well as can be expected: on to the outside of his arm He had quite a bit of mommentum, which usually translates into less painful falls . Mayo on the other hand didn't do such a good job of falling -- stuck his arm out to catch his fall.
I've had far worse looking crashes during mountainbike races and with the exception of a few broken ribs at Snowshoe one fateful summer, I never really felt the pain after a few hours.

|I know that one can stiffen up after an injury like that. I hope LA feels good when he wakes up. What perfect timing for a rest day.|

|He's probably fine.
He has been stretching his back out before every climb this tour, and from my understanding has done so for a while.
I can tell he's a good bike handler by how he can twist so hard while traveling 30+ mph on his bike. Crazy...
