|Lance does not win the tour this year. How many weekend warriers will trade in their Postal bikes for something else? I'm jokingly asking this question but I did seriously ponder the thought. I'll bet there were a FEW people who purchased Trek products just because Lance won the tour on them. There's bound to be a certain percentage of people who do things like this.
Anyway, it's not over 'till it's over. I just expected Lance to win again and when I realized this was not going to be a "slam dunk" I started thinking about all the other possibilities.
May the best man win!

|I'm wondering how the Shimano DA '04 add campaign is going to look like if Lance doesn't win this year's TdF.|

|For some uneasy reason I have this bad feeling we are seeing toward the end of the USPS team and sponsorship by USPS all tigether I hope I'm wrong I really do, for the sake of the next generation of cyclist, but I really think either way if Lance wins his 5th or not this is his last year just too many signs pointing in that direction, and in return with all the agencies, people Bit**en about USPS spending millions on sponsorship that The USPS will cut the sponsorship after Lance retires, as they figure their prime return is no longer there. Just my opinion and I truly and honestly hope I'm 1000% wrong.

|It may not help sales among the weekend warriors, but anyone who has ever seen a roadbike trashed after a minor bump, and then sees what Lance's bike survived in the first big crash and the cyclocross episode, has gotta be impressed.|| |
