|...and come out of the Pyrenees in the Maillot Jaune.
He will win the final ITT as well.
He will win the 2003 Tour de France.

|...but we shall see. As for other posted messages below, I don't think he's playing possum at all. It's simply tough going. If the heat backs off for him, he'll probably feel better. It's going to be close for a while yet, but he may loose the YJ in 14. I hope he makes 5 but it's anybodys race at this point...

|I don't think anyone should count Lance out just yet. Phil/Paul made it sound at the end like Lance had blown-up, but far from it. Couldn't get a look at his face, but he didn't look that bad to me...

|You can't deny that. Lance made a good recovery, but the fact that he was gapped sure means something.|

|I agree with you about the final ITT. I just have a gut feeling about it. (I may be having a different gut feeling a few days from now after having to eat crow, but I really doubt it) You could also say that I am playing the percentages as Lance has come up on top more times than not versus Jan in TT's. You may also call me crazy based on the last TT. I believe that Lance did have a serious problem with dehydration and you can bet that won't happen again. I hope that the epic battle continues through the Pyrenees though, it is just unbelieveable racing. Jan is incredibly strong and Lance just keeps digging deeper and deeper to stay in yellow. Tomorrows stage should be more of the same I just hope the times are reversed and I hope nobody really blows up. I would love the time difference to be under a minute at the end of the race. What a centenary tour!|

|I know that there isn´t a lot of live coverage in the US,
But are they showing this years race at all???
Lance had problems in the Alps,in the ITT, and know Jan is blowing him right of his wheel, without even attacking, and you guys still think he is just bluffing???
I´m a big fan of Lance, don´t get me wrong, but he is not the strongest rider this year, actually I think he would have lost a lot of time, if he had a weaker team( they are great).
He´s gonna loose the yersey today.
|Nope - he's still got it after 14! nm||MrDan|

|and as often as possible, live. Even if it means waking at 5 in the morning. Jan is the one who lost time on L'Alpe D'Huez. Jan is the one who has been sitting on Armstrongs shoulder as Armstrong covers most of the attacks. I know it is Armstrongs job to cover these attacks and it is wise tactically for Jan to do just what he has been doing. I do not believe the Lance has "sandbagged" or held back at all this race. He is just a defending 4 time champion engaged in the race of his life and doing quite well (He is still in yellow by the way). I believe Lance will win the final ITT. That is all I stated. Based on past performances and a strong desire for Lance to win (some might call it wishful thinking) and the belief that Jan did one of his best TT's ever in stage 12. I guess we will find out if I am wrong after the TT. Either way I am going to enjoy the battle.|
