Armstrong 4th.
Ullrich seems so patient, setting up for quite a battle! nmSpunout

But he is getting so little help from his teamelviento

I would like to see Lance win but looks like he is only on par with Jan in the mountains but not as good a TT'er.

It would be a bummer if Jan proves a superior cyclist but loses for lack of help from his team.

Also I am tired of Lance' making excuses for his poor performance -- loose seatpost in Liege, brakes rubbing in the first Alp stage in this year's tour, etc.

We heard a lot of that after yesterday's ITT. But Jan met every acceleration of Lance's team and rode Lance off his wheel.

People who say Jan can't ride the mountains don't remember the '97 Tour.
Armstrong marked well, but Ullrich looked STRONG ...El Guapo

Ullrich looks stronger each day. Armstrong may be waiting for tomorrow, but I'm getting tired of saying "maybe he's waiting for tomorrow." Tomorrow will be telling! Has Ullrich expended his energy bank or at least made a sizeable withdrawal? Does Armstrong still have several overseas energy accounts he can withdraw from? Man this Tour is hotting up. Armstrong / Ullrich mano y mano! Damn cool! If Armstrong wins this Tour, all the critics of the past victories might just shut up. Armstrong today said he dropped 7 kilos of body weight in the ITT yesterday! That's an incredible fluid loss.
