Some interesting things to meRoger2

It is interesting that there are five guys (Armstrong, Ulrich, Vino, Mayo, and Hamilton) who respect each other and like each other will be beating the crap out of each other over the next stages. The ultimate weekend group ride. ;0)

It's also interesting that the trash talkers are nowhere to be seen in the GC (Botero, and specifically Simoni).

It's interesting that Simoni is still in the race. You have to ask "why?" considering how awful he's looked. The only reason, is he wants a stage. I look for a huge attack by Simoni either tomorrow or Sunday. Of course it'll not have an impact on the GC, but it could burst any bubble Armstrong may have of winning a stage this tour. A small victory for Simoni I guess in some since, to take a possible win from Armstrong.

Finally, change the roles of your top three (Vino, Ulrich, and Armstrong) and I think it would be hard pressed that either Vino or Ulrich would have been able to cover the attacks, etc. that Armstrong and Postal have to this point.

Vino has been uncovered, he can't play the wolf in sheeps clothing anymore, if there were a jersey for the most opportunistic rider, he surely would wear it. It'll be interesting how he responds and reacts in the next two days.

I love this stuff, can't wait for tomorrow and Sunday. I hope it stays close.

The two make a deal to work together to put time on everyone else for Lance, but Lance let's Simoni take a stage. Win/Win.

Throw Heras and Mayo in the mix and you've got a train that I don't think Vino or the Kaiser would be able to tag on to up the steep slopes.

If it presents itself Armstrong may surely consider it.
WOW, now THAT would be AWESOME!!!! (nm)bigdeal

I can see LA and Hamilton working together in a similar fashion to what you describe. It could help Hamilton move onto the podium and keep Armstrong ahead of his two closest rivals. Win/win.

IIRC, weren't Vino and Ulrich also teamates at one time? They may have similar plans.

Looking forward to the racing this week...
