Can anyone post some stats on Jan Ullrich?KRider

Kind of like when they post info on riders on OLN, does anyone have any stats on Ullrich?

I tried to find his webpage, but its in German, which I don't speak.

Thank you!

1. He's German
2. He can't drive well
3. Has a record
4. Has never beat Lance Armstrong for overall in a Tour

Ullrich - 2nd
Lance - DNF

I think that qualifies as beating.

I think Lance had a pretty valid reason for having the DNF that year though.

Don't mean to sound too harsh, but I was looking for REAL stats. I think Jan is a great rider and has the potential to beat Lance (I am a Lance supporter), but he just doesn't seem to have the same drive that Lance does. Physically, I think he could beat him anytime.

So I'm specifically looking for bio and stats on him. www.letour.com only has results, I'm looking for more. Thank you!

Jan's father left the family, much like Lance Armstrong's real dad. He also had a brother, Stefan, who is evidently a Team Bianchi mechanic. Jan was in the East German Sport University where they rigorously train athletes to win medals in the Olympics. It helped to say the least! Jan also lives in Merdingen, Switzerland with girlfriend Gaby. Need any more info?
Thank you guys, you answered my question...KRider

My previous comment was about Bill105's post, it didn't really contain anything relevant. Thanks to the rest of you, you guys gave me a lot of cool info.

Jan whooped 'em today! GO JAN!
