Enough with the "form", already!!!sixbillionethans

Okay, I like Phil Ligget and the TdF just as much as the next guy, but ever since the Tour started, everybody is talking about "form". Before the Tour, we talked about "being in shape" or any other adjective for one's body's preparedness for a race. Now, everything is good form, poor form, form, form, form!!!
Everyone here talks in old money terms...hammer_cycle

Form is just old money way of saying "in shape" LOL

I think the closest US equivalent of the British "on form" would be something along the lines of being "on his game". Soccer, tennis, cricket players, even race car drivers will be described as being "on form" or having "good form" when doing well.
Of course in cycling, good form equals being in shape.
The French use an expression that translates as "on tune" or "on song" to convey the same meaning.
