|Did you see George lead the climbers almost all the way up the Galibier? Don't say it wasn't a fast tempo because it dropped all but 40 of the top climbers in the world today. Every year he seems to go higher and higher. I think if he were the team leader he would be as well placed as the Cofidis "Leader" David Miller. They have similar builds and similar strengths, but IMO big George has the maturity. I think LA will need George's big engine after the Izoard today to help motor to the finish and prevent relevent attacks, so don't be surprised to see GH make it most of the way up the Izoard today and regroup on the descent.|

|He's not a great TT'er or climber, either. He used to be a very good sprinter, but I think that now he's developed into a pretty decent all-round 1-day racer.|

I'm very happy for George. He's had a miserable year and he got in the team in the last week before the tour. He's now performing admirably.
