|So any of you go on a 43-mile group ride in say an hour and 20 minutes lately?
The difference between Pros and us mere mortals is quite astonishing! Although we talk about Saeco losing lots of time, I'd love to be a "massive" 3 min back of USPS.

|how above "your average rider" any pro is, is looking at the back markers in a TT. Even the slowest rider (who probably wasn't giving 100%) usually has a pace that would win your district's TT.|

Not only win it, but do so by an embarassing margin.

|Last year as the end of the season we started out with 15 riders, all warmed up to go flat out for 50 miles. Finished just under 2 hrs, ~25miles/hr with 5 riders left. Pretty embarrasing huh. Funny thing was that 5 guys got flats and typicaly on a 50 mile ride, MAYBE 1 guy would flat.|| |
