if Jan weren't taken 2km polls? he'll probably get 1min+ on LA in individual TT.

Laurent Jalabert is watching the race from the back of a motorcycle. He has been following the Bianchi team and has reported that their team leader, Ullrich, has been most impressive today. The 1997 Tour champion has been doing turns of pace at the front of his pack - about 2km at a time...

is a much better method than allowing the team stud to take long pulls in a strong headwind. LA can certainly hold his own in an ITT. He looks very strong and fresh. I think he has quite a few gears left to finish this race off. There is a lot left, but game planning is his strong suit and I think he has a plan as usual, to blow this race apart again. He has no fear and Beloki, Ullrich and the rest of his closest competitors must have him in their heads. That is a lot to carry.
yes, if you have strong teamcyclopathic

and Bianchi isn't. It wasn't his choice Jan worked hard to pull team to finish line in good time. Bianchi lost 2 men yet finished only 43 sec behind. They were targeting ONCE time, expecting Postal would be 16 sec behind, just like last year.

Like it or not the boy is back and we might as well see the best Ullrich yet.

Funny thing! I just got back from my favorite German forum at sport1.de. For the most part, the Fatherland seems to think the same thing.

Thank the heavens for this forum, everyone. If you read German, got to the forum above and marvel at the insults being flung around. Plus, endless and bizarre speculation about the amount of off-season doping at USPS which resulted in Heras', Beltran's and Rubiera's superhuman TTT performance. Mein Gott!!! You get less sour grapes in an Alaskan vineyard...
