now that he's out of the Tour...here is his interesting perspective...It is very sad what has happened to Levi and team Rabobank.

Even tyler has two of the greatest wins of his (any American) career before his disaster...

I have to say that this is worse for Tyler, because he was doing so well this season and doesn't have many Tours left. At this point, for me, there is little to watch until the mountain stages...let's hope Jan and Simoni can give Lance some competition to make it an interesting tour.
sadly, I agree totally Tyler was the main excitement of 03' TDFOld_school_nik

who makes Lance's race schedule look ambitious and then doesn't get overly impressive results when he does race.

won two huge races this (Liege Bastone Liege, T. De Romandie) year and for a time was the number 1 ranked rider in the world (FICP rankings)..

and to be precise Hamilton at one point was the best rider of the year (points started accumulating in January), but he has never been the #1 ranked rider in the world (I don't think he's been in the top 10 even, he's currently 18th), which is a rolling ranking of the previous 12 months.
Well I don't know what impresses you,MXL02

but coming in 8th in last year's tour ain't bad. We are all fans and have our favorites, Levi is one of mine.
