There are a lot of familiar faces in the tour this year, but who are some of your favorites that are missing?

Mine, Jacky Durand. Maybe he never stood on the big podium at the end of the race, he sure was not afraid to shake up the peloton and even grab a podium or two along the way.

Hey, I settle for going over and just watching, and riding a few stage routes.

He'd shake up the mountain stages a little bit.

I think that you'll see him in Europe next year.

Cipollini. Then pretty much all the top sprinters in the world would be at this year's tour. Not to mention with DV there these sprint finishes would be a lot safer.

Julio Perez Cuapio (disappointing in the Giro but the man can climb!)
Paolo Savoldelli (Totally focused on the Tour this year but knocked out by illness...)
Yaroslav Popovych (Proved he's good in the Giro...)

And Cipo of course!
Robin Williams!!!MaRider

he'd be a major threat in the tt's if he were on form. deserved to be a LOT closer to LA in 1999.

C'mon that crash would've never happened with the zebra train in the race. Watching those guys is like going to school to learn "How to Give a Perfect Leadout!"

And where's Tom Boonen? Is he injured?
