|I just want to know how someone could have put Zabel as a possibility and then there are three great spainish climbers with 0% next to them. Beloki in particular. Not to $hit talk Zabel, i'm a huge fan, but......just....how could Zabel.....no.|

|For sure Zabel shouldn't be there - I mean he's great and all (just won the German nationals - on a breakaway no less), but not even a fraction of a chance of winning.
Besides, who knows how many of the voters even know who some of the other guys are- most people just think LanceLanceLance. Not a ton of cyclists actually follow racing.
|zabel??didn't he win the year before lance???||wheelsucker|

|I didn't even know they raced bikes in europe? I thought the giro, the tour, and the vuelta were just scenic tours of the hosting country. can't anyone with a pretty bike, nice shirt, and shaved legs join?? j/k. I know a couple of cyclists that don't follow racing. they're always asking me who won when I tell them I'm watching the giro/tour/vuelta or whatever race is on oln. But seriously how could you even post zabel....expecially on this site???|

|...about Zabel. Sorry, don't know what the heck I was thinking when I put that in.
So I'll take Zabel out, who to put in?
Garzelli, Mancebo, maybe Merckx???

|I'd go with Mancebo. He may not win, but he should put up a hellofa fight.|

|Beloki's already in there, looks like someone voted for Zabel...||gregg|
