|reported by cyclingnews.com quoting from Gazzeta della Sport
"According to the paper, Robbie went up to the president of the jury yesterday and said to him in French, 'Oh, are you going to relegate me again today? Try it.' "
What an @$$! Robbie, to paraphrase Frank Zappa, "SHUT UP AND RIDE YOUR BIKE!" If he thinks the Italian jury was looking for a reason to relegate him before . . .

|Sarcasm and joking around is a VERY Australian way. This quote could be completely out of context. And what if he really did say that? You think Cipo doesn't go off when he thinks things go against him? How about punching guys in the sign-on and throwing water bottles at officials?? Mario sounds like a bigger @$$ to me.|

|I love this stuff. Mario, Robbie, I don't know man. Being an arse is a prerequisite for being a flamboyant sprinter. It makes victory that much better. You think Robbie didn't have extra incentive to win after being relegated early on?? Only Zabel has class, and he isn't here...Great stuff, GREAT Giro so far....|| |
