|1) can Heras put any more time into him on the next climbing stage?
2) if no, can Heras hang on in the TT?
as someone said below, Sevilla certainly showed that he has class by helping Gonzalez, but I kind of wish he hadn't.

|1) yes and he only needs to add about 20 to put it out of reach
2) most likely, all you need is Savoldelli's finall TT in the Giro to see what a leaders jersey can do for ya
I hope he does hold on as I think AG lacks the class (as stated above and below) to deserve the win

|you know, we can't get into his head, a la Being John Malkovich. so he may just have made a mistake. I suppose we should remember he's innocent till proven guilty.|

|that's what he's claiming. "I didn't know I'd dropped him....." in regards to Sevilla. yea right, didn't look behind and didn't have his earpiece in.|

|1)The climb isn't that fearsome. Heras may be able to get 10 seconds more IMHO.
2) If the first ITT is any indication then it won't be enough. But Heras has two things working for him: a) the final Kms are uphill. b) He'll be wearing the Gold Jersey which will make him pedal his a$$ off like never before (shades of Simoni in last years Giro).
This is a great race.I love the fact that the top 4 riders are only separated by 2 minutes. This is going to be decided on the final day, just like last year.

|There is 2 Cat 1 climbs tomorrow with a Cat 2 in between. It doesn't finish on top, has a descent to the finish. Heras will put time on the last climb, watch for Aitor making the suicide run to catch up. Yup gonna be close. yes, he's going to have the gold jersey and the hilly TT. I think he's gonna pull it off. Watch for Beloki to try to get to striking distance from Sevilla. I'm seeing a USPS Once combine. yes. Simoni 2 Y.A. and Savoldelli this year.|

|send sevillas up the road and make heras and beloki chase, then counter with gonzales. keep this up and maybe you can break heras. if the climbs are more power climbs than the steep, pure climber's mountains, heras could have a bit of trouble. beloki as well.
he's gotten a lot of criticism for attacking sevilla, but i though gonzales did a gutsy climb today. that stretch where he cut the corner while heras went wide, and closed almost half the gap, and then brought heras back was amazing to watch. but of course, heras is the better pure climber, and it showed.
beloki was impressive also. man, was he hurting.

|can't send him if he can't ride faster. Look for Once/USPS to keep pace the high and under control. Then Heras/ Beloki to attack the both of them.|

|Impossible for Kelme to send Sevilla up the road. Heras and the posties will not and cannot allow Sevilla to be out of view.|

|a&s were the best teammates heras had today. usps team isn't strong except for vv and chechu, who is riding better.
at least it might make heras have to work a bit harder than he would want to.

|strong enough to put another 37 seconds on Aitor. All we ever see is CVV and Chechu as the other posties do their job before OLN coverage starts. Those guys (what's left) do all the work until Heras, Chechu and CVV go. Chechu will go huge tomorrow as well, as Heras is his friend and nobody knows how to step up and sacrifice like he does. how's Kelme ( Sevilla, A.G.) gonna attack when it's obvious they can't on a climb. All they can do is defend and try to save time. They wouldn't wait until the last mountain stage if they could. That's the point of keeping the pace high (which A&S) did well today. Nobody can launch when they are struggling to keep up.|

|With the leader's jersey, Roberto gets to ride last with Johann watching the splits. It ought to the the ITT of his life... The last day, a finishing climb. Possible to have the top 3 finishers within a minute of each other. A very exciting last day.|

|Tomorrow they have to get two guys up the road in a break and keep them away until the last climb. Heras attacks up the climb, drops the Kelme boys, picks up his teammates on the way down and they team time trial it to the finish.
It won't happen, because USPS isn't strong enough and is very conservative, tactically, but it would be the best way to steal some seconds on a day where it will be hard to get any.
On the other hand, maybe A&S will still be friendly, or maybe ONCE is interested in smacking around Kelme. Friendly guys on any team will do!

|I completely agree with the above post. CV and rubiera (or possibly 2 others) need to participate in any breaks so that they are waiting for Heras just below the crest of the last climb. They have to TT downhill to the finish line.|

|it's not that long of a descent, a solo rider with a lead would be fine. Heras will drop Chechu and CVV, most likely look for him and Joseba.|| |
