|I have to go with cw and pick Beloki or Heras, though if Sevilla is really 7 kilos lighter he and Simoni could make it interesting. And I wonder which Botero will show up? Ok, enough hedging already, I pick... Beloki over Heras and Sevilla by a minute.|

|...well, okay, maybe Simoni. Actually I think it will be a lesser rider - it's too early in the race for Beloki, Heras, or Sevilla to burn up the legs of their teams. They won't get to the Pyrenees for awhile still - that's where the sparks are really going to fly.
Outside chance: USPS' Rubiera - this could be a good chance for a stage win for him as a reward for helping out Heras in the GC.

|that final climb is long but not very steep and there is another mtn day tomorrow, so I think we'll see all the GC contenders come to the line together. I think Simoni probably has the best sprint of the climbers so I'm going with him. Too early to let a breakaway with any good climbers in it go, and I think that final climb is too long for any non-climbers to stay away.|

|they said he struggled during the TTT, and he's just been dropped with more than 25K to go on the climb to Sierra Nevada.|| |
