|While Le Lance put a hurt on his major competition today, it is interesting to see that less than a minute separates GC slots 4 through 8. Should be some racing to watch in the next few days...
Too bad about Sevilla - first news was he was sick. Kelme has been dropping a lot of riders...
BTW, am I the only one who feels it's slightly ridiculous to have to put "Spoiler" on something to do with the TDF in the TDF forum? I mean if you don't want to discuss the current situation, why be looking at this forum?

|he'll be back, but wasn't he out in a break when he retired? that seems silly to me. why not take it easy and finish? oh well, i wonder if he'll be back for the vuelta in form.
fwiw, i agree on the spoiler issue

|People put "spoiler" simply as a courtesy to others.
Of the guys in slots 4 thru 8, most of them are pretty good time trialists. The time final trial will be much more interesting as a result. I don't know about Mancebo, but Heras is probably the worst TT guy of the lot. If he wants a better position, he is going to have to take a flyer off the front tomorrow. Otherwise, assuming no one above him cracks, he can only hope to keep his current slot.

|IMHO, the name kinda implies what's on the board. If your not on the TdF board to discuss what's going on in the TdF, why are you here?|

|I tried to make this point a few days ago. The purpose of this board is to discuss the Tour! By definition the majority of our discussions will be on what happened today.
I'm a little bit tired of seeing 'spoiler' on every other post here. I went to the velonews Tour coverage site and the uk.yahoo site and they didn't put 'spoiler' on every page... why is that.
Courtesy is one thing but I just don't think this makes sense.
That being said. I'm just one person. If the majority of the users of this board are in suspense to watch tonight's coverage, speak up. I can live with it as well.

|Suddenly, nobody seems to care about being spoiled, now that the final results are effectively known.|| |
