Leipheimer in 12th, Heras in seventh 5 min utes out of the podium.

How impressive is Rumsas?

Hamilton finished today 7 minutes behind Galdeano, who was only a few seconds behind Beloki & Heras.

Can Heras make up 5 to 6 min on Beloki and Gonzalez de Galdeano. I hope so, I would like to see him get a stage aswell, he is working to damn hard not to.

Possible but unlikely IMO. He will need to make up more than that amout of time to give him a cushion going into the TT. Also, Rumsas & Botero are lurking within 3 minutes of the podium. Heras only took less thean a minute out of all of these guys today.

Of course one great day or bad day by anyone is possible in the mountains.

So true. this is turning out to be a hell of a race nmPhatMatt

After yesterday I thought he would really fold like a house of cards today but he rode a good race. Certainly not good enough, you can't continue to give up 1+ minutes every mountain stage and expect to win or even place, but he fought well today.

He only gave up a few seconds to Beloki/Heras & put time in everyone else. I think ONCE works now to protect the two podium spots & hope Lance cracks.

How is that different...Wannabe

How is this any different from their (Saiz's) tactics thus far?
