|What does ONCE do now? Heras is ripping their legs off and only Lance can beat him. Carmichel's quote on the OLN site yesterday was, "Everyone has been talking about ONCE's potential for a 1-2 punch in the mountains with Igor Gonzalez de Galdeano and Joseba Beloki. They are both strong climbers and there are several tactical options open to them, but isolating Lance Armstrong will be considerably harder now that it is clear Roberto Heras has the power to climb with the leaders of the Tour de France." That was before today's stage! What now? I don't think they have any options left. Clearly Armstrong and the whole Postal team, especially Heras, has the advantage in just about every way. Rubiera did exceptionally well today also. They are an oiled machine. Does anyone see any real chinks in their armour?|

|Only thing they can do is consolidat their hold on the other two spots on the podium & hope for a break. There is still alot of racing left & it only takes one bad day in the mountains to lose a ton of time.
If Lance Bonks or flats or crashes, they can lock up the yellow pretty quickly.
They also have to worry about Rumsas & Botero who are less than 3 minutes off the podium.
