|Why change a tire and not switch bikes?||r600rider|

|Why would they ever change a tire on one of the bikes. Seems quicker to just switch bikes. Are they limited to the number of bike switches they can make and want to save them for emergencies?|

|Inthe TT they should have just swutched bikes that was a complete gaff - maybe because Ja JA was using a special new bike Tyler's bike in fact - the mechanic thought he could change the disk and keep Ja jas position more similar - but he had trouble with the vertical dropouts on the special bike -
and all the teams have two bike for the stars at least perhaps every rider doesn't have an extra tt bike but at least 6 extra bikes per team on the road stages - set up for the best riders positions..

|Still don't understand why they would ever change a wheel. Seems a whole lot quicker to just yank a whole bike off the wagon and jump on.

|time around. They were both on the course at the same time. They should have changed the bike without trying to change the tire first. He lost a lot of time. Big error on their part - JJ included.|| |
