|Am I the only one who thinks the OLN Ride of the Day selections have been totally lame? All they ever do is give it to the winner of the stage. Wouldn't it have been more interesting to have selected Thor Hushovd's cramp-ridden crawl on Stage 2 instead of Freire's sprint? Or how about the epic Jacky Durand/Franck Renier breakaway of Stage 3 instead of McEwen's moment and a half at the finish line?|

|Calling it the ride of the day and then always giving it to some sprinter who didn't even work until the last 3 seconds of the race is far from what I would call RIDE of the day.|

|I know what your saying!
I think that the ride of the day should go to the poor guys who crash 3 times in a stage and still get up and continue on (Moreau). Or the guy whos heart rate went through the roof intermitently throught the day (Ogrady) Or maybe even the guy who rode through serious leg cramps yet still struggled on to finish.
Giving the ride of the day to whoever wins the stage is totally lame....it should go to the guy who faced the most adversity but still continuted on to finish the stage...even if he came in dead last!!!
