What if I happen to be a well heeled cyclist who rides mountain bikes, beach bikes, road bikes, single speeds, tandems, recumbents et al... and can prolly kick your sorry behind up this hill and down the next? What then, Howler? If I do it all, am I not a road biker when I'm on a different kind of bike? What are you when you're not riding? Nevermind, I think I already know...

I hope dirt geeks keep coming and fill this page up. Keep posting here and it will stay on top.

(you from Bellingham? Me sees a local Bellingham e-mail address.)
well, jeeeeeeez.......doesn't LANCE race MTB now?heffalump
Aug 24, 2001 8:16 PM
I agree with Sparty, there.....what ABOUT us multi-bike geeks? I bike commute to work, do the occasional century, either on a road bike or the 130 mile camping trip on my hardtail with 20 pounds of camping gear.

Not to mention the fact I'm a professional mechanic, and I probably know more about your road skimmer than YOU do, so.......keep in mind, the next time you bring your bike to the shop for it's workup, it might just be a MOUNTAIN BIKER working on it....

Oh, and yer beloved Lance races mountain bikes too....does that make HIM a dork?

Ok, so we know you shave your you stop at the ankles and at the spandex short level, or do you do the WHOLE leg in case you need to race in drag sometime?

LANCE is a crap MTBerBigRingKing

He admitted that a NORBA XC race he entered was harder than any stage of the Tour.

Me thinks this is a roadie that was left in the dirt on his local MS ride by a dirt lover on his full suspension "lead sled" and is crying about it. No bitching just ride.

Be nice...let's recruit MTB'rsBil Bikie

Some mountain bikers have never owned or ridden a road let's be nice. Maybe we can help sell some road bikes for our local pro shops.

In today's TT stage (14) two EX-MTBers finished in the TOP 10. Cadel Evans (3) and Dario Cioni (7).

Not only did these ROAD ROOKIES make light of your precious 'race of truth' but one of them is now looking more and more like a lock for the entire GRIO. Cadel is 2nd overall and we know he can climb better than Hamilton and TT better than Casagrade.

So when you say keep to your side, is it because you don't like us or YOUR SCARED OF US????
