|Just read that LA is "50/50" on whether he will ride the Vuelta.
IMO, he owe Herras in a big way, and he has promised in the past that riding a supporting role for last years winner was a priority.
Not riding the Vuelta would be a slap in the face to Herras.
We'll see if he is a man of his word.

|He already has decided against riding the World Road Race Championship (probably because he knows he'll get spanked), but I agree he is indebted to Heras for his work in the TdF. If LA does not ride the Vuelta, Heras should leave the team (maybe for Telekom??). |
We'll wait and see. Its just over a month away!!

|I also believe it would be appropriate for him to pay back the favor. Of course, it all depends on how is form is at the time. I can only imagine that racing the tour really takes a lot out of you, but then I'm sure it put a lot of stress on Herres also. It would be good for team morale for Armstrong to ride the Vuelta. Also, it would keep cycling a little more on the radar screen of America if an American team (albeit with a Spaniard in the driver seat) making a run for two grand tours.|

|I was pretty lukewarm on Lance the person until I saw the Road to Paris thing. I thought he came across as being a team kind of guy and |
wanting to ride for Heras in the Vuelta. I trust that Lance will follow through. End the 50/50 business and do it.
