I repeatedly read Lance takes Testosteron that helps him "to be a man". Do you know whether he takes it?

|From a medical standpoint, he may need to take testosterone suppliments because he lacks one testicle, and the radiation and chemo pretty much rendered his other testicle ineffective. Since testosterone is produced in the testicles, he probably no longer produces the hormone naturally. |
Now, this may pose an issue with UCI and the TdF since supplimental testosterone is on the banned substance list. Lance may be able to get a medical waiver to take the suppliments, but he may also be required to submit more urine tests to make sure his testosterone levels do not exceed the UCI limits.
I'd be curious to know more about this myself. Anyone else have insight?

|Gosh. You gotta love all the speculation that goes on about Lance.
You all have quite the imagination. No wonder he tires of all the endless inquiries and suspicion. He hasn't had any problems with the UCI or TdF yet folks, and I'm quite sure they have done their best.
There is nothing there. Deal with it!

|This was not intended to be an attack or question why Lance is so strong. I think we all know he's clean as a whistle, but considering the physiological results of his cancer treatment, and you'll understand my point. Ultimately, only Lance's doctor knows the answer to this question, and that is rightly so. I guess I am speculating, but not to try to find excuses why he's such a great rider. |
Are there any physicians who can enlighten us on the subject??
