|That look to Jan has got to be one of the best things I have seen. Although it wasn't a look, the challenge was proposed and Jan couldn't take it baby!!! Man vs. Man and Lance won... God I love the TDF.|

|I actually stood up and cheered in my living room. What a show! Thank god for OLN! Getting up at 4:30am has never been so intense.|

|That is something I'll never forget. It was as if Lance had supermans X-Ray vision and looked through Ullrich's sunglasses and gave him an eye to eye challenge. Then Lance turned around and shot off like a rocket. After Lance had about a 20 meter lead you could see Jan Ullrich's head drop and you new the race was over at that point.
The amazing thing about it all was that Lance went to the front of the group and basically told Jan that he was taking off. He didn't come flying up the side of the group like most breakaways do, he laid a challenge and it couldn't be answered. It was awsome. I can't wait to see it again tonight.

|"... and Lance looks back at Ulrich and says 'Are you coming with me or not?' and the answer is NOT!"
Gotta love Phil Ligget...

|I was so happy, I wanted to cry. (but my wife was there...) The buildup was so dramatic:
"Lance is having a horrendous day."
"USPS has been blown to pieces."
"Maybe he will live to fight another day."
"Everybody knows Jan is going take off L'alp.., question is who can hang on"
Lance had all the teams, all the press fooled. I saw Ulrich's head just drop to the ground after the "glare".
I so happy I rode my Trek to work today!!

|I saw the clip off the net ala some Tour site. It initially displayed Lance speeding away, then there was the replay. I ran around my house cheering and running. The look he gave Ullrich before he took off........ahh.........I wish I could have been there. WOulda been goin absolutly nuts. Then, when Ullrich dropped his head.......I couldn't help but yell "Eat it Jan, Lance just kick yo (bum)" A great moment making me realize why I love cycling and the Tour.|
