|Dont these guys know that they have a team time trial tomorrow?? Dont get me wrong that was the best stage this far in the tour but those guys gotta relax before the TTT. Last year it put like 7 minutes between the real teams and the weaker teams and 7 minutes to Lance or Jan is pretty much death. Rubiera, Vaughters, Museeuw, Verbrugghe, and Kjaergaard were some of the people who got dropped in the last group.
How are we thinking Julich is going to do this tour?? Hopefully he wont crash out like the last 2 years, but he's looking good so far. Not sure his team is strong enough in the TTT but CA is in the overall team lead for time so I guess we'll see tomorrow, can't wait gotta watch it LIVE guys that's 6:30AM here on the West coast but oh well.

|that those that got dropped in the second group were holding back for tomorrows TTT? That's kind of my guess. The GC guys took off in the first group because they couldn't loose the time but the rest of the team could hang back loose time and rest up for tomorrow.
Considering the tactics involved in the tour I'd guess that this was the plan.

|They came in like 18 minutes behind the first group so pretty much anyone in that last pack is screwed for the overall GC. No way that you're gonna make up 18 minutes on Lance or Jan. This goes back further why did they even go out hard to begin with? I was expecting it to be just like a ride in the park, you know about 40-45 K/H not that 45-50 that they were going at for a while.|| |
