Absolutely amazing!
Maybe this is Telekoms way of saying to Zabel "sorry we left Fagnini at home, but we will help you when we can"
That was GREAT!Pack Meat

O'Grady is in yellow? How that happen and why didn't I pick him? ZABEL is awesome, the whole Telekpm team giving up the big lead out. Where was Hincapie, did he miss the split? I love the Tour.

Zabel trains in San Diego every December...Bruno S

He has been training in SD for the last five years in December. He says he really likes it and he really like the food. He is usually with other telekom members. Anyone from the area ever seen him? Next december I will be on the look out.
So should he share his 50,000 francs this time?? (NM)Cima Coppi

This is a tough Tour--it's only stage 3!!

I think a lot of the US postal boys are trying to stay fresh. The Pyr Mtn stages are crazy and the last week will be taxing for any team with the GC leader. I wonder if telekom is using itself up with the Team TT, the mountains, and the final week still to come.

Zabel is cool!

What do you guys think the Team tactics are right now??

They did the same kind of thing back in '97. In fact, that year it wasn't uncommon to see both Riis and Ullrich pulling the peleton along in a bid to get Zabel to the line first. Primarily, I think they're trying to show their support for Zabel in light of the fact they didn't bring his favorite lead-out man, but I also think that they're trying to show just how strong they really are. All the talk has been about how strong USPS is this year, and I think they wanted to show that they shouldn't be discounted.
