|I think the mix up is with the halfway time:
Kjaergaard quickest at 4.1 km
Norwegian Steffen Kjaergaard had the honour of being the fastest rider at the halfway point of the prologue, with a time of 4:34 for 4.1 kilometres. He finished 18th with 9'36, suffering into the headwind that blew up the finishing straight. He wasn't the only one to do this, although Christophe Moreau's time was only one second slower, and he went on to win.
