Thought some of you might be interested in this, which I've taken from my club's website, www.nycc.org.

ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK CENTURY
Our annual century ride, to be held on October 4, 2003, is the crown jewel of the NYCC year. We offer 3 great routes—100, 62, and 50 miles—plus great food and great people. All rides leave from Manhattan and offer picture-postcard views of the Hudson River and Palisades as we cross the George Washington Bridge to the hidden pleasures of New Jersey and scenic New York State. Whether you're riding or volunteering, this event is an excellent way to see what our club is all about. Registration is now open at Active.com. Registration fee: $23 before Sept 19th, $30 thereafter. For more information please email your questions to enyinfo@nycc.org.
Anyone know what the route is like?bikeridah

I'm thinking about doing the full century (would be my first), but am curious what how "rolling" the route is? The cue sheet does not indicate number and gradient of hills involved. Thanks for any insights.

Don't know what the specific route this year is going to be. Judging from previous ENYs, expect rolling hills with a few steep climbs. If you have want more specifics, query one of the ride leaders listed on the website.
