The only club in that area I specifically know of is the Vintage Bicycle Association, run by CyclArt in Vista. They're on the web as

Drop by for a chat. I'm sure they know all the good road and racing clubs around, plus you'll probably get the tour of some of the best bike paint jobs in the world, and see some amazing old hardware.

The other group of racers I know of are the trackies down at the San Diego Velodrome, in the Balboa Park area. Again, not exactly what you're looking for, but I know some of those guys roadrace, and legendary coach "Eddie B." teaches there. They have a website, easily found with a search engine. Saturday mornings are "open sessions", so you could take your roadbike down there, ride it on the track, and meet them.

I know there's some roadrace training going on around Mission Bay. A weekend ride along the PCH will reveal the occasional shaved-leg roadie whizzing by. If you can catch 'em, you've earned the right to ask if they're in a club.

Try www.sdbc.org . They're probably the biggest racing club in SD.

There are a number of clubs in north county. Try the link to view clubs on the web. North County Cycle Club has rides starting at 8:00 am every Saturday from Old California Resturant Row in San Marcos. There are two groups and the rides are 30 to 50+ miles in length and average 16 to 19+ mph.
