|Just wondering if anybody knew of any interesting rides in the Annapolis Maryland area. I am fairly new to the area and am sick of doing my usual 30 mile loop down off the bay. Thanks in advance.|

|Have you tried the B&A Trail or the BWI Trail which connects to it? This website has some good info on local bike trails and events.

|Just remember one of the rides of my life along an old carriage road between DC and Anapolis, south of and roughly parallelling route 50. For all I know that little road may have been settled on both sides with developements and widened to four lanes by now, but back in 1985 it was virtually like it was a hundred years earlier. It crossed some water to the west of Annapolis, at Rivas, I think. Annapolis is a fascinating city to tour by bike. Maryland DOT has available some really nice county maps that show all the secondary roads. If I were there, I'd just get maps of surrounding counties and go someplace different every Sunday. Have fun!
