Just wondering if anybody knew of any interesting rides in the Annapolis Maryland area. I am fairly new to the area and am sick of doing my usual 30 mile loop down off the bay. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the B&A Trail or the BWI Trail which connects to it? This website has some good info on local bike trails and events.

Just remember one of the rides of my life along an old carriage road between DC and Anapolis, south of and roughly parallelling route 50. For all I know that little road may have been settled on both sides with developements and widened to four lanes by now, but back in 1985 it was virtually like it was a hundred years earlier. It crossed some water to the west of Annapolis, at Rivas, I think. Annapolis is a fascinating city to tour by bike. Maryland DOT has available some really nice county maps that show all the secondary roads. If I were there, I'd just get maps of surrounding counties and go someplace different every Sunday. Have fun!

Check out these sites:

Team Snow Valley gives a list of some of their favorite routes. Check out the "Club" page and search for the "Routes" link toward the bottom.
