Any links/leads would be appreciated. Preferably in the East Bay, but I won't mind either

If you happen to live in the Fremont area, there is a club called the Fremont Freewheelers with about 300 members which includes a race team. Here is their website: www.fremontfreewheelers.org. I know that there are clubs in Berkeley and Pleasanton as well. Specifically, where in the East Bay are you looking for? Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. I live in Alameda, so a Berkeley club would be great.

The Berkely Bike Club would be the closest: http://www.berkeleybike.org/

They are pretty serious racers.

If you want nice rides, check out www.duro.org

Another local team is the Valley Spokesmen Racing Team based in Dublin. www.vsrt.net

For additional clubs in the area, go to http://www.valleyspokesmen.org/vs-links.html
They have links to most of the local clubs.
