|Several rides to choose from (and clubs):
Ventura weekend ride: Saturday and Sunday. 7:30 am both days, do not be late on sunday or you will have to chase. Saturday usually leaves at 7:45, but makes up for it with the pace. Expect Sat to be fast to ungodly and Sunday will be less fast, but not really slow. Routes vary in length from 42-58 miles, 2:00 to 3:00 in duration. Good group, regroups two or three times per ride, usually stops for flats/mechanicals.
meets at dilapidated japanese restaurant on thompson and fir(?). just get off 101 at California street, turn right on thompson and go up the street five blocks, look for bike geeks on the right.
Ventura tuesday ride: 5:00 pm. Really fast, with no stops for the dead or wounded and one regroup about halfway. Same meeting place.
Camarillo ride(s). drop in to Bill's Bike shop on Las Posas and Arneill(sp) for info. Saturday and Sunday am rides. Thursday club criterium practice. 6:00 pm. 50 laps, about on hour in length, pace is full race. In an office park off Lewis road, call Bill's for directions (484-1203).
Shops with road clubs:
Gold Coast cycling club: Open Air Bicycles in Ventura.
Central Coast Velo: Bill's Bike shop in Camarillo.

|Are you riding on tuesday or, Going to the prac crit thursday?
If so, I will be the one with a white KLEIN Quantum race w/ blue shimano shoes. It would be cool to at least have one acquantance there, as oposed to being total strangers w/ everyone.
|This tuesday I went to that japanese resterant and no one was there.
I said what the heck and rode the lake loop, anyway. I caught the pack where a road takes off the 150 and goes to the ocean. Come to find out they now meet at mission park on tuesdays, but the resterant on the weekends, Thought that everyone could use the newest info.||Daniel H.|
