|Anyone else doing Hemet on 7 April?||Humma Hah|

|Hemet is up in the Lake Elsinore area of Southern California, between LA and Palm Springs. They are holding a century/double century on April 7. The century looks like it is comparable to the Tour de Palm Springs, a little under 4000 ft of climbing, nothing really steep (according to a profile I ran for myself). The area is ringed with mountains, but the route winds thru a flat basin and four lakes. About half way thru, it drops into a valley (should be a sporty ride down a winding road) then climbs back out, the worst of the climbing. |
Based on last year's results, this is a small event. A good one if you don't like crowds. It is not a race, but they timed last year's riders and posted the results.
Here's the web page.
