How do I find out whether a frame is authentic? There's a bike shop here with Colnago, Lemond and Bianchi frames. One celeste Bianchi frame/fork was going for under $150 but I didn't see any serial number on the BB shell. Are there any other markings I can look for?

The Bianchi could be one of their lower end Asian made frames. Are there any tubing decals? Also look at the dropouts. Are there eyelets for fenders?

I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the Asian made Bianchis. Just don't let the celeste paint fool you into thinking it's an Italian made frame.
Probably asian-made. Thanks Dave!woofers

I didn't see any eyelets for fenders. Dropouts were one-piece, and the Bianchi name and logos were nicely clearcoated decals.

I should have mentioned that I'm in the Philippines. It's ridiculously easy to get a "replica" frame here.

I'll try to get some pics when I drop by the shops again next weekend.
