The original integrated headset??Qubeley

Came across this on Ebay. It looks very much like the integrated headset we have today(only 60+years older), with head tube specially made for the matching headset.

My 1929 Charlie Gibb had an integrated headset as well as my 1949 Vicini. That Bianchi-Folgore was a hot bike! very nice. Integ. Headsets have been around a long time...they choose to market them different now to boost sales. Also, look at splined BB. I had a 50s Williams crankset that used a splined hollow BB and Splined crankset. Once again, another New marketing ploy...by shimano with the splined hollow BB. What an innovative company...just kidding.
