Headsets have been around a long time...they choose to market them different now to boost sales. Also, look at splined BB. I had a 50s Williams crankset that used a splined hollow BB and Splined crankset. Once again, another New marketing ploy...by shimano with the splined hollow BB. What an innovative company...just kidding. |
