| Need help ID'ing a pawn shop Fuji | SpecialTater Oct 30, 2003 12:25 PM | | I beleive it has "Sardenes" or Sarjenes on the downtube. Memory is failing. Lugs, double up front and stem shifters. I'm looking for a winter beater/commuter BUT I don't want to put a lot of time into a non-classic. How do I tell stamped vs. forged dropouts?
Thanks for any help. |
| If it has stem shifters, skip it | Straightblock Oct 30, 2003 12:29 PM | | They were generally found on entry-level bikes. Check Sheldon Brown's website to see the different types of dropouts. |
| not so fast... | moschika Oct 30, 2003 3:08 PM | | stem shifters could have been added later. as could most of the parts.
