|Hi - I'm a long time reader, first time poster to the Retro Board....
Can anyone tell me about the Benotto 850, like where it sat in the Benotto range, the years these were produced, appeal as a "retro-ride"?

|The 850 was made in the early eighties. Earlier were made of Ishiwata tubing, later of Columbus. Probably made in Mexico, possibly in Italy. Check the dropouts, Campy was higher line with cast dropouts lower line.
Should be a nice bike to ride. Benotto was an Italian builder, his bikes were built along classic Italian lines.
